Studio Operations & COVID-19 Update (July 2020)

Mid-July Update:

Being 4 months now since lockdown & the entire Make Real team started working remotely from home, as the government moves to ease elements of lockdown for everyday life & work, we wished to update our clients, partners & friends with how we will be operating for the foreseeable future.

This has been conveyed to the Make Real team internally already.

Daily Operations:

The Make Real team will continue to operate remotely, working from home for the foreseeable future.

Where necessary, either for reviews or for personal reasons, some team members are able to work from the studio, ensuring we do not exceed an internally set number of people within the space.

When necessary, such as client review meetings, demos & reasons that cannot be avoided, the studio space has to be the physical gathering location, Make Real will work with our cleaning company to carry out a deep clean the night before.

All staff & visitors will be required to carry out the following hygiene & safety routine upon entering the studio:

  • Use hand sanitiser & washing facilities within the studio space.
  • Sign the form to confirm they have been free of COVID-19 symptoms for the past 14 days.
  • Maintain a 2m social distance from other Make Real team members or visitors.
  • Avoid using the smaller enclosed spaces such as meeting rooms with more than one person present.

Communications:

Virtual forms of comms will continue, either via telephone, email, video-call client or social VR platform/s.

Callers to the usual Make Real studio phoneline 0845 0178 777 will go to voicemail, forwarded to a member of the team via email. Many clients have direct line mobile numbers for their contacts & should continue to use those.

Emails to info@makereal.co.uk, jobs@makereal.co.uk are monitored & responded to as appropriate. Clients should continue to use the direct work emails for their relevant contacts.
