As part of the onboarding experience for new Porsche team members, they take a time-travelling VR trip back to where it all began in Gmund.
We created the experience for standalone Meta Quest headsets for ease-of-use and portability.
Participants meet Ferdinand ‘Ferry’ Porsche, who introduces them to the model 356 car, the first to bear the name ‘Porsche’. Inside the virtual workshop, they can explore points of interest. For example, they can check out the blueprints of the car, or a wooden mockup of the vehicle.
For maximum comfort, we opted for movement via teleporting rather than walking, so learners can experience the app no matter the space they’re in.
