Ever wondered what it feels like to be chased around an inescapable maze by four cute yet menacing ghosts?
Thanks to Little Lion Entertainment, you now can thanks to an incredible immersive PAC-MAN LIVE Experience at Arcade Arena Manchester.
Players go head-to-head as they navigate mazes, becoming PAC-MAN, dodging ghosts and chomping up pellets.
We worked closely with Little Lion to bring the whole experience to life, integrating sophisticated technology to get players as close as possible to the PAC-MAN experience.
Endless maze configurations
Projection-mapping brings the arena to life with a range of mazes and levels.
Live tracking with wearables
Player locations are tracked with a wearable ‘PAC-Vest’, monitoring whether they’re in bounds.
Power-up and turn the tables
Players collect pellets, power up, chase down ghosts, and aim for the top of the leaderboard – just like classic PAC-MAN.
Your own PAC-Master
Each experience is guided by a host to help players best learn and enjoy the game.

Getting the visuals right was key to creating the incredible immersive experience that is PAC-MAN LIVE.
Floor and wall projections put players at the centre of a unique PAC-MAN arena. The walls show an ‘audience’ of PAC-MANs (or PAC-MEN?) along with leaderboards and an overview of the players’ position in the maze.
Wearable technology tracks players, the pellets and power-ups they collect, as well as whether they step out of bounds – leading to a penalty.
Extensive focus testing helped nail down what sort of penalties there should be. As you might imagine, being a PAC-MAN can be tiring work! So, it was key to balance fairness with fun.
