  • Position: Finance Administrator, Full Time, 1-year fixed contract with a possible view to extend.
  • Location: Brighton/Hybrid. Most of our team are remote, with some working hybrid in our Brighton studio based in Plus X Innovation Centre. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from the studio at least one day per week.
  • Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

As our current Finance Administrator prepares to go on maternity leave, we are seeking a dedicated individual to cover this role on a one-`year fixed term contract. The Role

Make Real is looking for a highly organised and adaptable Finance Administrator to support the day to day running of the office and team. You will work closely with our Finance Director to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will also involve assistance with finance tasks such as data entry and bookkeeping. The role will consist of the following responsibilities:
  • Assist with finance tasks such as:
    • Checking weekly staff timesheets are complete and posted over to our project management system, Synergist.
    • Processing staff expense claims.
    • Making office and project-related purchases.
    • Purchasing and managing hardware leases.
    • Booking accommodation and transport for staff attending marketing events, client meetings and video shoots.
    • Drafting contracts.
  • Management of the studio, including keeping it tidy, collecting post from reception, booking meeting rooms, arranging lunch orders for client meetings, general queries
  • Couriering of hardware to and from staff and clients.
  • Planning of our staff socials, gifts for birthdays and life events.

About You

We're looking for the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Some finance experience desirable although not essential.
  • Team player attitude, happy to help in other areas if needed.
  • Adept in technology (including Microsoft Excel).
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the technology sector desirable but not essential.
